Project Highlights

Learning experience development

  • This project was aimed at educating healthcare professionals on the pathophysiology of Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP), a rare autoimmune disease affecting the myelin sheaths on peripheral nerves. This was intended as a virtual learning experience in a conference booth setting.

  • I interpreted scripts from medical writers, and researched what the key players of the story – like proteins and antibodies, will look like using protein databases including Protein Data Bank. I produced storyboard panels to explain the mechanisms of action, and user interaction scenarios.

  • I developed educational content for another project with similar virtual learning experience tactics, aimed at educating healthcare professionals on the pathophysiology of gout symptoms, and the drug mechanisms of KRYSTEXXA® (petgloticase).

  • I worked alongside medical writers, cross-referencing with scientific literature to inform the visualization of cell environments and interactions.

Long COVID Infographic

  • The objective of this infographic was to give a clear overview and highlight the underdiagnosis of long COVID in patients who have previously been infected with COVID19.

  • This project was intended to increase awareness of the symptoms of long COVID, and consider the impact of the underdiagnosis of long COVID on patients facing barriers to healthcare access.

Driving empathy in HCPs treating Alopecia Areata patients

  • The objective of this project was to design a messaging campaign aimed at educating healthcare providers on the unseen struggles from dysregulated autoimmune responses in Alopecia Areata (AA) patients.

  • I developed visual analogies and metaphors linking scientific content to easily recognizable wording, such as “explore the storm of hidden patient burdens” relating to the term cytokine storms that occur in an autoimmune response.

  • I wrote and visualized content for an interactive patient diary, akin to a person’s social media feed. I conducted rapid research on the struggles of AA patients and created diary blurbs to show the inner struggle of patients that healthcare providers may not notice immediately.
